Ian Wallace, B. Admin.,CA - Partner

Ian began his accounting career with Deloitte Haskins & Sells, now Deloitte and Touche. He joined Mintz & Wallace as a partner in 1986 and is the partner in charge of most of our non-profit audits.

Ian is a past participant in the Impact CA program which was developed by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants to provide selected CAs the opportunity to meet with government officials to discuss current issues in accounting principles and practices.

He enjoys the Arts and regularly attends the Symphony of Regina, which, coincidently, is a client of the team.

Todd Mintz, B. Admin.,CA - Managing Partner

Todd obtained his Bachelor of Administration designation from the University of Regina and his Chartered Accountancy in 1994. He began his career at KPMG in 1992, prior to joining Mintz & Wallace.

He has served on the Fees Review Committee, Convocation Committee and the Communications Committee with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Saskatchewan. Todd was also selected by the Canadian Institute to be profiled in the December 2006 issue of the national CA Magazine. http://www.camagazine.com/3/4/9/8/3/index1.shtml

Todd has volunteered as the President and Treasurer for the Offroad Syndicate Mountain Bike Racing Club and organized provincial mountain bike races. He was also on the Saskatchewan Cycling Association Board of Directors. He is currently on the Regina Progress Club Centre Executive and has served on the board for the Society for American Wines. He is also currently a member of the Regina Breakfast Club and the Wascana Country Cluband a Senior moderator for wetpixel.com.

Todd has a second profession as a PADI Divemaster. He is an accomplished international award-winning underwater photographer. In addition he has been awarded numerous Best of Shows in international competitions. His work has been published in magazines, books, newsletters and websites including several magazine covers. Todd’s images have also been part of two exhibits in the Smithsonian Natural History Museum in Washington, DC. His image has also been featured on banners throughout the museum. He lists his favourite subject as sharks, which, as a result, has taken him on many shark expeditions. (no cages here). We are not sure how he ever makes it to work on Mondays, with over 700 dives worldwide. His personal website can be found at www.pbase.com/yahsemtough which shows a selection of his images.

Clint Ceholski, B. Admin., CA

Clint has been part of the Mintz & Wallace Team since 1995 and became a Partner in January of 2008. He achieved his Chartered Accountant designation in 2000 after obtaining his Bachelor of Administration from the University of Regina in 1997 with Great Distinction under the Accounting Fellowship and Co-operative Education programs.

Clint has extensive experience with not-for-profit organizations and small businesses and draws on this knowledge in providing advice to entities in these areas. In addition Clint was involved with the Regina Police Community Band as the Executive Director, so he knows what it is like to be on the other side of an audit. 

Throughout his years as a saxophone player Clint had the opportunity to tour throughout North America. His interests continue to be music as well as traveling and RV’ing with his wife and three children.
 

Donald Mintz,FCA - Founding Partner (retired)

Don has been a Chartered Accountant for more than 30 years and brings a wealth of knowledge to the firm. In 2002, he was awarded his Fellowship Chartered Accountant (FCA) designation for his years of meritus service to the accounting profession.

Don has volunteered and served on numerous committees for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Saskatchewan, including being elected to the Provincial Council and participating in the Impact CA program.

He is the past chair of the Audit and Finance Committee and Board of Directors with Sask Power and Sask Energy from 1992 through 2001.

Don is an avid golfer and enjoys fishing.
